Dillon Ruellan
CEO AND FOUNDER

Dillon Ruellan is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) having trained in the International Tax Practice of Deloitte LLP.
Post qualification Dillon transitioned into the offshore Trust and Corporate Service Provider (TCSP) industry with a Global Law Firm assisting in the development of the financial reporting functions for the global group and client structures. Dillon then moved to an independent owner managed TCSP where he was largely responsible for the growth and development of Corporate & Private Client cross border structures, as Group Executive Director.
It was at Dillon’s previous roles at TCSPs where he formed his vision and strategy for continuous improvement and technological advancement of the TCSP industry. RFS is the execution of this very vision, fusing experienced professionals with automation to enhance the service offering for all our stakeholders.

Stephen Morgan
Chief Operating Officer

Stephen Morgan brings over 30 years of experience in the Finance Industry in the Channel Islands to RFS. He has held executive Board positions for over 25 years.
The majority of Stephen’s career has been spent leading strategic initiatives in the financial and operational aspects of various international fiduciary businesses; including a number of years assisting in the development and significant growth of a local (start-up) privately owned Family Office.
Stephen is passionate about restructuring financial performance systems and seeking continued improvement in the quality of financial information which enhances informed decision making and maximises profitability.
The promotion of collaborative leadership, a balanced work environment, a happy team and a healthy attitude are the embodiment of Stephen’s principles and values.
Stephen trained with KPMG as a qualified Accountant, achieving the qualification in 18 months, instead of the usual 3 years. Stephen’s leadership and extensive experience are augmented by an undergraduate degree in Economics and a Post Graduate degree in International Banking & Finance.

Geoff Arnold
Director of Core Services

Geoff has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry and began his career in the tax department of one of the largest fiduciary services providers in the Channel Islands. There he gained extensive experience of Jersey and UK tax issues relating to High Net Worth individuals and their structures, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
Post qualification Geoff has had various roles with a Trust and Corporate Service Provider (TCSP) specialising in Employee Benefit Trusts and Offshore Pension plans, including a year in Malta. He has also worked in both the tax department of a ‘Big 4’ firm and for a local accountancy practice where he was responsible for leading the client financial reporting function.
In his previous role Geoff led the financial and tax reporting teams for an independent owner managed TCSP.

Anne Lappage
Compliance Director

Anne has over 15 years’ experience in the financial services industry, with ten of those focused on Risk and Compliance. Anne has previously worked at the Jersey Financial Services Commission as an Examiner, where she led a variety of examinations to assess effectiveness against the regulatory framework across multiple business sectors. She previously worked for one of the big four banking organisations, where she gained knowledge and experience in client onboarding and strategy and change before moving into the Risk and Compliance environment.
As well as appreciating the need for a commercial approach, Anne understands the importance of achieving regulatory compliance at the same time, whilst also supporting and focusing on the client experience.
Anne holds diplomas in both Compliance and Anti Money Laundering via the International Compliance Association.

Peter Johnson
Head of Private Clients

Peter has more than 15 years experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining RFS, Peter has been the Head of Private Client for a multinational organisation and a director in the Private Client divisions of publicly listed companies.
Peter’s clients are located in various jurisdictions and his experience ranges from overseeing complex trust and fiduciary structures for global cross-border families and their family offices to simpler standalone entities for succession and/or tax planning.
Peter is also responsible for leading a proactive and knowledgeable team of fiduciary professionals.
Peter is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and attended the University of Cambridge.

Ken Le Claire
Client Director

Ken brings over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry in Jersey to RFS including 30 years at Director level for both boutique and multinational organisations.
The majority of Ken’s career has been spent working with private wealth clients and family offices and he has become a trusted adviser to multiple families across the globe.
Ken specialises in complex multi-jurisdictional family office structures and bespoke tax and succession planning arrangements but he is equally comfortable managing single purpose vehicles.

Jamie Darwin
Client Director

Jamie brings over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry in Jersey to RFS. During that Jamie has held senior roles at several multinational organisations with a focus on Private Clients.
He has worked closely with clients who are resident in the UK with structures holding Property, Investments and has vast experience working with SME’s. He has recently held board positions with a Family Office, chaired an investment Monitoring Committee and has successfully dealt with non-contentious Trust Law matters involving the Jersey Courts.
Jamie’s professional qualifications include the STEP Diploma in International Trust Management (TEP) passed with distinction.

Hugo Butlin
Manager

Hugo has over 7 years of experience in the financial services industry, starting his career while studying for a BSc (Hons) in International Financial Services and working simultaneously at a large private equity fund.
After graduating, he trained in the Audit department at Deloitte LLP and PwC CI LLP, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) in 2020. Hugo then moved away from audit and joined a global fiduciary services provider working in the Funds department.
Over his career, Hugo has gained a wealth of experience working closely with Private Equity, Venture Capital, Family Offices, and Real Estate clients, delivering entity administration, financial reporting, and operational requirements.

Matthew Oliver
Associate

From a young age, Matthew has been drawn to the world of business and finance, choosing to study the subject throughout both school and college. Alongside his studies, he completed several work placements across a range of organisations, helping him discover his strengths and refine his career aspirations.
Through these experiences, Matthew developed a strong passion for working with financial data. He is currently studying toward his ACCA qualification, further demonstrating his commitment to becoming a fully qualified accountant.
Before joining RFS, Matthew gained valuable industry experience as a fund accountant within a large administration firm, where he strengthened his technical knowledge and understanding of the financial sector.
Matthew joined RFS eager to broaden his expertise and contribute to our diverse client base, bringing enthusiasm, professionalism, and a strong foundation in finance to the team.
